The deposit is $100 for smaller one shot, patchwork tattoos and for larger\u00a0 session sleeve work it is $200.\u00a0<\/p>

Joey<\/span> typically books out 4-7 months at a time, he will update his Instagram and his Facebook a week prior to opening his books, as well as a reminder the night prior.\u00a0 With the high\u00a0 volume of demand he opens his books for just a few hours,\u00a0 so keep a lookout for future posts! Once you reach out to him he will take a look at what you\u2019re looking to get tattooed and if it\u2019s something that\u2019s more his style he will call you to book a sit down consultation to go over your ideas.\u00a0<\/p>

If it\u2019s something that\u2019s more someone else\u2019s style he will refer you someone who can accommodate you.<\/p>

Joey<\/span> does all of his scheduling\/ consultations himself on his days off, before work, in between appointments, and sometimes after work so please be patient.\u00a0<\/p>

Make sure you put your name, phone number, a brief idea of what you\u2019re looking to have done, how big , and where at on the body. If you do not leave a contact number your email will be skipped, so please be sure it\u2019s there<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

You must give a 48 hour notice for cancellations in order to reschedule or you will forfeit your deposit and will need to leave another one in order to reschedule.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The best thing to do would be to get a good nights sleep, the more sleep you have, the higher your immune system and your pain tolerance will be. The night prior and morning of make sure to drink lots of water as it will hydrate the skin,\u00a0 in return will make it easier to tattoo you. An hour or two before your appointment make sure to eat a big meal.\u00a0 This will keep you going and will make you feel less wore out after and will help with not getting sick during your tattoo.\u00a0 Bring snacks as your blood sugar levels drop during your tattoo and will help keep you going, and avoid blood thinners. Joey<\/span> has a candy dish at the shop and bottled water for you if you forget. Hygiene is important keep that in mind. The first few minutes of tattooing, your body will start to sweat, get clammy etc, that\u2019s normal however towards the end of the session your adrenaline\/ endorphins might be coming back down and you will get the chills so bring a blanket if you think you might need it.\u00a0 Please do not drink alcohol the night before or the morning of your appointment and please refrain from caffeine before your appointment.\u00a0 Make sure to protect the area about to be tattooed from the sun as he will not tattoo over sunburn. He has a fan for you if needed and a charging station for your phone so you can keep your mind busy if you aren\u2019t big on conversation during your appointment.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

**This is important!**<\/p>

** Now that Joeys job is done, your job starts.\u00a0 He uses a saniderm \/second skin type bandage that he will put over your tattoo that will stay on for 4\/5 days.\u00a0<\/p>

The first few days any weeping of blood \/ plasma will form inside of the bandage and after a few days it will turn dark and smudgy. That\u2019s normal as the blood and plasma start to dry. You\u2019re going to want to not sleep on the bandage or get it wet at all and keep it out of the sun.\u00a0<\/p>

The only time you should run the tattoo under direct water is while taking the bandage off. To do so, let it run under warm water to loosen the adhesive up some. Thoroughly wash your hands first and then lather the bandage with soap and while running warm water over it , pull directly down from the bottom of the bandage as you make your way up, not away from you.\u00a0<\/p>

Once the bandage is removed there is going to be some dry blood \/plasma that you\u2019ll need to wash off.\u00a0 To do so, wash your hands again so you don\u2019t cross contaminate germs on to your fresh tattoo.\u00a0 It is an open wound essentially so keep that in mind. \u00a0<\/p>

Splash some warm water on the tattoo and then lather it up good with the soap and hand rinse off in a circular motion gently.\u00a0 Do that a few times then splash cold water on it to close the pores. Then blot it dry with a fresh paper towel. \u00a0<\/p>

Starting the next day wash it well again then blot it dry and let it dry out some.\u00a0 Use a super thin layer of fragrance free lotion on it twice a day, gently in small circles. It\u2019s going to flake and scab some so apply the lotion gentle enough to where you\u2019re not picking the flakes off. The goal is to let them fall off naturally.\u00a0 For the next 2 weeks after that small amount of lotion twice a day and gently wash it once a day so you don\u2019t have caked up lotion on it. \u00a0<\/p>

Things you will need =\u00a0<\/p>

Gold Antibacterial Dial soap in the pump and fragrance free Curel or Aveeno lotion.\u00a0<\/p>

Things to avoid=\u00a0<\/p>

no picking , slapping, scratching or rubbing your tattoo while it itches as it will create more trauma to the healing tattoo and it will make the lines welt up thus taking longer to heal.\u00a0<\/p>

Avoid pools\/submerging your tattoo under water, the only time it should get wet is when you\u2019re hand washing it. Avoid sun exposure, and sleeping on your tattoo.<\/p>

Some people in rare cases have an allergic reaction to the adhesive from the saniderm. most people get a mild irritation just from motion and that\u2019s pretty normal. However, if you notice the skin under the bandage is severely hot and itchy with little clear bumps could mean your body does not like that adhesive touching it and is most likely a form of contact dermatitis.\u00a0 In those rare cases. Take the bandage off and the next few days take some oral Benadryl.**<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
